The wine was fermented in 50% French oak barrels, with the balance in stainless steel tanks. The wine went through some Malolactic fermentation, resulting in a well-balanced
wine with bright acidity and a rich, round mouthfeel.
Tasting notes
De Loach Russian River Chardonnay is a beautiful pale straw yellow in colour, the nose of this Chardonnay immediately entices you with its rich aromas of key lime, white peach, and baked apple pie. Upon the first sip, a flinty brightness balances the creamy apple. Subtle soft oak helps carry this lovely wine with a long, lingering finish.
