Seriously good rosés are what Sacha Lichine of Chateau d'Esclans is all about and this cuvée is one of theo ones up there with their top end wines. By spending some time in oak it has acquired a richness and roundness which, with your eyes closed, you could mistake for a serious white Burgundy whilst at the same time retaining all the exuberence of Provence. If you've tried and liked Whispering Angel then, for a special occasion, this is the next step up.
Tasting notes
Fresh and dry with a little creaminess, but with a fullness of taste befitting a seriously well-made wine. Be ready for a subtle peachiness with a trace of spice and signature Provencal herbs. Delicate notes of wood and a superb, satisfying, long finish.

Of course it's perfect for drinking all by itself, but it also pairs up with grilled chicken dishes, white fish and seafood of all types.
