Made from Tempranillo grapes grown in organic vineyards which are over 70 years old located in the area of “la Sonsierra”, in the Rioja Alta. Manual harvesting of selected grapes takes place in October followed by the winemaking process: Maceration for 2 weeks, controlled fermentation with native yeasts in 20.000 kg capacity vats at 26ºC. The wine is then aged for 14 months in French, Eastern European and American oak barrels. |

| The colour is deep violet-red, and the nose is very intense and mature, with multi layered aromas of forest fruits, chocolate compote, rich oak and spices notes. The palate is elegant and pleasant, smooth and well balanced with sweet tannins and a long aftertaste. |
