Description
100% Merlot from the Rapel valley with 20% aged in French oak for 6 months. Supple and soft with punchy berried fruit flavour, combined with black pepper notes. At Emiliana they like to say ‘let nature get back to work’ – and it does.
Tasting notes
Packed with red fruit aromas, especially berries it elegantly combines some black pepper notes for added spice. On the palate, it presents a delicate wood influence that contributes to the considerable complexity, good structure and fine tannins. It has a nicely soft texture and a fruity finish to round off with.
Food match
Quite moreish and silky, when food pairing it's very versatile; try with poultry, lean red meats, pasta, even vegetable stews and cheese dishes.
