| The Guigal Estate was founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in Ampuis, a small ancient village and cradle of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. It shelters a unique vineyard where the vines and the wines have been famous for 2,400 years. Guigal source the best grapes from the Southern Rhône with an unusually high proportion of Syrah to produce big-bodied wines. Guigal Côtes du Rhône is of consistently high quality in all vintages. Connoisseurs will enjoy its classic expression of the Syrah grape variety combined with the Grenache grape. Full with a long finish and plenty of elegance and finesse due to the well balanced tannins and fruit. |

| Deep and dark red. On the nose intensely aromatic, with black fruits and spices. The palate is full, round and sexy. Round and smooth tannins present through the full bodied, ample wine. Overall a complete wine, with a long finish, with elegance and finesse accompanying the abundance of fruit and well-balanced tannins. |
